Adira (24″ X 36″ acrylic on canvas)

Adira is a feminine variation of the name Adir, a Hebrew biblical name rarely used to refer to God.

I had the privilege to paint live during the women’s Prism Conference 2022 here at The Harbour Church in Pompano Beach, FL. It’s always an honor to make visible what I’m seeing, sensing, feeling, and knowing in my spirit. I wanted to share one of the many things I processed during my painting experience.

Luke 13:12-13 When Jesus saw her condition, he called her to him and gently laid his hands on her. Then he said, “Dear woman, you are free. I release you forever from this crippling spirit.” Instantly she stood straight and tall and overflowed with glorious praise to God!

Jesus “SAW” her. Jesus sees you!

God promises us that He will make everything beautiful. In Him, you will become strong, courageous, and mighty. Your obedience and sacrifice will render you approachable, attractive, and kind to many. You are being made beautiful to declare to the world the beautiful Kingdom.

Many are curious and ask me about my painting process. Painting prophetically is not about making a masterpiece. It’s an act of worship that visually expresses.
